Fall Into Reading 2011

I know the calendar says that it is now Fall, but my thermostat and I strongly disagree.  It's still roughly 900 degrees here in Florida and the humidity makes it incredibly hard to breathe.  (Whoever said Florida was a great place to live was probably only here for vacation.)  No, relief probably will not arrive for quite a few months, if ever.

Despite the nasty weather here, it's still time to jump into the Fall Into Reading 2011 challenge, sponsored by Katrina at Callapidder Days.  Create your list of books and sign up here.  There are even going to be giveaways!  Reading books and possibly winning something, can it get any better?

I always make a huge list and never end up reading all of the books, so this year I'm going to try and curb my list a bit since I'm working two jobs now and do not have much time left for my "fun stuff" like reading.

With the exception of a few books I've requested to review and haven't heard about yet, here is my list for the challenge:

Double Trouble (PJ Sugar series #2) by Susan May Warren

Licensed for Trouble (PJ Sugar series #3) by Susan May Warren

Mercy Come Morning by Lisa Tawn Bergren

Beyond the Grave (Past Midnight series #3) by Mara Purnhagen

Too Close to Home (ebook) by Lynette Eason

Borderline by Allan Stratton

Bruiser by Neal Shusterman

Dirty Little Secrets by C. J. Omolou

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I hope you decide to join the challenge.  Remember, you don't have to have a blog to partake in the fun.  Let me know if you do decide to particpate.  Happy Reading!

We can finally breathe here in Memphis... so there's hope for Florida! Cooler air has to reach you eventually! :) I am unfamiliar with the books on your list, so I hope you'll say more about them as you go along! Maybe you can turn the A/C way down, heat up some apple cider, and pretend it's really fall for an hour or so for some cozy fall reading! :)

It's so tempting to make a super-long list, but there's definitely something to be said for keeping things manageable. (Especially with two jobs - yikes!) Looks like you have some really good books in store. Hope you enjoy your fall reading!

I haven't heard of these titles or authors. So many books, so little time! LOL Good luck!
