It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

I know, I know, I've been absent for awhile.  Part of it was because I've been working non-stop even though I was on "vacation"--whatever that means.  Unfortunately, we started back to school/work today despite the fact that it's a federal holiday.  (Don't get me started...)  I do plan on blogging more, but I'll have to explain why/how later.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I just finished The Accidental Bride (Big Sky Romance book #2) by Denise Hunter.  It was wonderful!  (Check back on the 9th for an excerpt and a  review.)

Now, I'm reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman.  Talk about crazy!  Despite the fact that I haven't read the book, I know enough about it to do a brief book talk on it with the kids.  This is usually how it goes...

Me: "So, have your parents ever said--'I brought you into this world, I can take you out!'?"

Student: "Yea.  My (mom/dad/grandma, etc.) says that all the time."

Me: "What if they really could?"

Student: "Whoa!  Really?  That's freaky!"

Me: "Yep.  You'll love it!"

By that point, we're walking back to the circulation desk because I've piqued their interested enough that they grab it.  It also helps that on our way back, there's usually another student that stops us and points to the book saying--"That's the best book ever!"  (And we're talking about non-readers here.)

Needless to say, I know I'm going to start getting more questions soon, so I figured I should put-up or shut-up, so I'm reading it now.  If you've read it, what did you think?
